ADSL Allowance

Allowance services give you the maximum speed possible on your line, currently up to 24Mb/s.* These services includes a generous bandwidth allowance in the price with separate allowances for peak and for offpeak hours (details below).

With no port blocking you have a fast Internet connection which you are free to use as you wish.

Our MyAccount control panel enables UKFSN customers to view and manage your UKFSN ADSL account.

  • Customers who exceed their allowance will be charged the difference between their regular subscription and the rate for the allowance level used plus a £5 + VAT overusage charge.

There is a £40.00+VAT (£47.00 inc VAT) charge for a new ADSL activation. So long as you have a Migration Authorisation Code (MAC) and you are not on a LLU based product migration from another ADSL supplier is free.

* ADSL service speeds are dependent upon the quality of your line and conditions at your local exchange and whether your exchange is enabled for ADSL2+ services or only ADSL services. If ADSL2+ services are available the maximum download speed possible is 24Mb/s and the maximum upload speed is 1.3Mb/s. If only ADSL services are available the maximum download speed is 8Mb/s and the maximum upload speed is 832kb/s. The maximum speed quoted is for the ATM layer and actual throughput has a maximum speed approximately 13% lower.
**Peak hours are defined as Monday to Friday 08:00 to 20:00
***Off-peak is defined as Monday to Thursday 20:00 to 08:00 and Friday 20:00 through to Monday 08:00
